Hi! My name is Melissa, and I'm a senior at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. My academic interests span the interdisciplinary intersection of computer science, economics, and data science. I am passionate about using computational methods to develop data-driven solutions for social good.

I have served as Class Council Senator for all four years of high school, raising funds and organizing events. I am the Economics Club Captain, and I represented my school in the National Economics Challenge. I am also Treasurer of the CyberPatriot Cyber Defense Training Club.

Aside from my studies, I spend time tutoring math to young girls, playing classical piano repertoire at senior centers, performing hip hop and Chinese dance, and working through my never-ending to-be-read list.
